Mr. Q
Instructor's Philosophy of Education
Education is a Sacred Trust, separating humanity from the rest of the animal kingdom. We are the only species with the potential to develop cognitive abilities to the degree we can. With this gift comes responsibilities. Ours is, and always has been, to use our manual dexterity, mental abilities and emotions to make the world a better home for present and future generations.
What we learn while in academia serves no real purpose if we but memorize and become technicians in our field. The skills and knowledge we acquire and expand while in school serve no real purpose until we become better human beings.
At the end of the day, the Divine is the only teacher. The world remains our only classroom. Life constitutes our only lessons. Less we forget, the life that passes before us - just before we leave this world - is our final exam. We must use our time wisely. Learn what we can, for today never comes, again.
